The service was great and the food was very good! The fresh corn tortillas were soo delicious. We got the shredded carne and chicken flautas. The price on the menu has not been updated or maybe because we were tourists? Either way our bill was 19 for two beers and two dishes.

Definitely a classic place to go. Established in 1910 and their mole recipe had not changed. We had the 107 peso lunch and picked the consomme, salad and mole enchilada. So good.

Food Food Food - this place was recommended by a salesperson at the Mercado de Artesanias nearby and so glad we took her advice - the Enchiladas de Mole A the Chilaquiles A portions are Big and some orders come with coffee and juice. This will be a return visit each time we're back in the DF.

Gem! Loved this place. Tortillas recien echas. Excellent service. I got rice with egg and mole. Yum! Tacos de guisados, Good coffee... Soup and caldo looked great. Highly recommend

Absolutely delicious. The tinga de pollo is phenomenal. The tostada more than the taco but both were amazing! They make the tortillas and tostadas right in front of you. 5

Very delicious food in a cosy fonda vibe. We ordered the carnitas and the 3 tacos. Food was very delicious, especially the carnitas. Service can be slow since they are very busy. Highly recommended if you are in the reforma neighborhood.

Delish, special Mole Poblano. I read they haven’t changed the recipe to their mole since they first opened, i.e., for many decades. The green mole wasn’t on par but it was still good.

Delicious, authentic Mexican home cooking. Very clean place, super friendly staff. It's not a fancy, in style place. It's for those you who want to try real home cooked style meals. For those of us who miss mama's cooking.
